Subject: Got Lost Off-road, LOL IP: Logged
Message: Was coming home from a snowmobile raffle at a local pub(didn't win) and I was near home so hit a powerline trail that had previously been closed with a large steel gate. For some reason, it wasn't closed tonight so I decided to venture in and see what was so important to keep everyone out. Well, I drove through mud and ruts for over 15 minutes and then had to turn around due to a gully that was deeper than the Dak could handle without a winch to help out. Did an about face and then got lost on the way back, lol. Took another 10 minutes of bank hopping and bottom scrapping to find my way back to the main trail, thank god for off-road lighting(and walkabout to mark unpassable spots and stumps)! It was fun, but now I have to wash and buff my truck out again tomorrow to get the branch/brush scratches out, love that soft clear coat!

Message: Where were you, we have been going 4-wheeling almost every weekend, between parish and mexico in Happy valley, we were going to try to go up to Barnes corners this weekend, but it's been raining too much.

Message: I only live 10 minutes from Parish and 20 from Mexico in Central Square, lol. Where do you live?
The off-road spot is between Rt 49 and Rt 264 on the power lines which is about half-way between my house and Fulton, being that the short trail was a dead end and not requiring much skill to navigate it's kinda useless. I have been hitting any powerline trails that haven't been gated off without a drivearound and they are all boring, the only good ones that we used to beat-up years ago are heavily gated.
If you have another outting planned, drop me an email, I just may join you if work/school permits which would be cool. Just took the American Racing rims/Xterrains off for the winter and have A/T's on now which should still do ok unless it's real muddy. I am getting either a Powertrax rear diff locker or the factory LSD drop-in for X-Mas so my Dak should be more off-road worthy in the spring:)

Message: I live in Liverpool, we've talked before. Some of the trails in happy valley aren't that bad, but short. Just gotta look around and find them. Kinda sucks going up now, being Hunting season and all. Last thing we need is to be getting shot at. I'll let you know when we go again.
