 Subject: Hope to be going Mudding

Rain in the forcast for us so we may get our first mud trip of the season to Hollister. Anyone who is interested in going let me know.
We are just trying to get this together so we are not sure who is able to make it. I am trying to make my weekend clear to go.
FYI for all the No CA guys who wanted to be kept in the loop on these trips. At the last meet a few other area to go were thrown around and we a looking to schedule some other trips.
Looks like a Saturday meet.

Love to join ya, but I am going to be tied up with home projects. Anyways, I finally recieved my Airlift springs the other day and installed them last night. I am impressed. This truck rides smooth with these things! If you get a chance ,stop on by. Need to hook up my trailer and test em out. Have a great time up there at the ranch!

Saturday 8am arrival, OK? I did call and there is a Hummer group scheduled for some type of training but the upper ranch is open.
I got the Detroit locker yesterday and it will be installed tomorrow. Hope that all goes well!

Kevin has done more in 2wd than I have done in 4wd. If it was my truck I would fix my front dif ASAP, but I work at an automotive repair shop and hate broken parts on a Dak.
Saturday @ 8:00 sounds good!

I just got back form the dealership and I am taking my truck in at 9am thursday for them to check it out... the bad thing is it might be laid up over the weekend if they fix it...

U-Joint, Drive shaft, Replace, Yikes Knobby you are always having something fixed man! I thought you had one of the best Lifts out there! It is a Truckin right! I bought stock in that CO.
Sorry to hear you have the problems bud! But I have been waiting since April for rain. Hell I have only used the winch twice since I got it. I'll probably use it 4 times that this weekend. Gotta break that crap in. It would be very cool if you could join us someday. Long drive though.

Here is the scoop. I got over 4" of rain since Wednesday night. It will be Super Sloppy at Hollister. Let the fun begin!
My truck is supposed to be finished today. Thanks to good old 4 wheel parts, I got the wrong piece sent to me.
The right one will be here today and installed. Baring any problems I will be set.
Meet is still at 8am at the gate. If my truck is not ready I guess I will be riding Shotgun with John.
I have lost count of who all is going. I know atleast 3 of us will be there.

No Mud for me this weekend!
Looks like the problem I am having with my rear axel continues. As far as it looks it looks to be a problem with Dodge using 2 different size c-clips on the carrier. After a long conversation with Detroit we found there to be 2 sizes used on this axel. They have found the right size and are sending it but I wont see it til Monday. Apparently there is a old style and a new style 8.25 axel the only difference is the C clip as far as I understand. It is all back together but without the right part they can not finish it.
As far as I can tell without the winch most do not want to brave out the the mud without one.

I know how you feel. I cant wait to get my truck back and I have only been without it for 2 days. Mabey next weekend or the next one we can go hit up the mud. Cant wait to have four wheel drive again!!!!! -kevin
