I love my BFG MT's. Great in dirt and mud off road, and they ignore standing water on the road. Never taken them on rocks or snow so I can't comment on that, but in sand they dig down a bit. They hum a bit on the road, but it's not obnoxious at all, just a nice background hum. Louder than an all-terrain, but nowhere near as loud as a lot of mud tires I've heard.

But I really like the looks of the Goodyear MTR, as well as the ProComp XTerrain. Fact is, I would have bought the XTerrains if they had been available in a 32. But I'm really happy with my BFG's.

The Wrangler MT/R's are also very good. They are great for dirt, mud and they do climb rocks very well, and surprisingly so does a Dakota. They handle well on-road,a bit loud, but it is a truck. They can cut through water like its not even there. The BFG muds are also very good.

I love my 33" MT/Rs and I have heard that the only situation that the lack in is deep sticky mud. They packed up and could not get traction. But if this is your priority he would recomended Boggers. I will wait for the Rains before I can agree or disagree with the Ram owner.

I have 34" Trexus MT on my dakota and i love them they are supposed to give you 30,000 miles if you treat them good and they are teh quietest MT that I have ever heard. They do good in the mud but i don't know about snow, but i will after this winter. Anyway that is what i think.
