Subject: Biggest tires for a 2WD IP: Logged
Message: I have a 97 QC 2WD. I have been told that 31's will fit on a stock 2wd. I am looking at getting 2in leveling springs, and I want new tires. The guy at a local truck acc. shop told me that I could fit 32's on the stock 15x7 rims with only the springs. Is this true, or is the biggest I can fit is 31's? I am looking at getting BFG A/T's if that makes any difference in wether they will fit or not. Thanks for your help.

Message: Bob, I have 31/10.50's on mine, with a 3" body lift. I wouldnt recommend putting bigger tires on your truck unless you put at least a 3" lift on, either body or suspension. If you do both, body and suspension, than you can put 33" tires on your truck. You will have to get a different rim if you put the suspension lift on. I got new rims for sh!ts and giggles, and am planning on the suspension lift in the near future. Hope this helps!
Run your fingers over my truck, and I'll run over your fingers with my truck!
