Message: I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota Sport 4X4 5.l2 V8 automatic. I put Dual Flowmaster exhaust on and a intake and I get about 11.5 to the gallon. Any suggestions.

Message: Snowman...that HAD to be a typo...27MPG at 50MPH, because there`s NO WAY you are going to double your milage! Please tell us you really meant 17MPG at 50 MPH.

Message: that's no typo I really do get 27 mpg at 50 mph try it sometime if you have the overhead computer find some flat ground and set your crusie control at 50 and watch. Even stock I was getting like 19-20 mpg. I know it sounds unbelievable but it's true I picked up like 5 mpg with the B&G flash alone then the ignition helped a little bit more and the injevtors gave me another 1-1.5 mpg and so on. But then again I also have 33x12.50s so once I get up to speed the rpms are considerablly lower hence using less gas to maintain speed. So since I live in colorado whether everything is light years away from everything else I do a lot of highway driving on raod s where the speed limit is 55 so I average 15-16 mpg on a tank. If I'm really really careful I can get close to 18 for a tank. Now if I drive like a bat out of hell and and ejoy the power I have under my foot for the full tank I only get 10 mpg

Message: OOPs well I just found my error it was no typo but rather a math error. I can get 18 not 27 mpg which is still pretty good. Although if I get out on a flat piece of road and set cruise control at 50 then I have seen the econometer rise as high as 23.
