Message: Hot wrenching is a slang gear head term for useing an acytlene torch and impact wrench to remove u-bolts. Often you must heat the nuts up and then put the impact wrench to them. I had to do without these tools when I was a young man. Now that I am a little older and have them I would hate to have to do with out them. Axel wrap is what happens when you floor your accelerator pedal and the the rear axle hops up and down violently. When you add lift blocks you are lengthening the moment arm of the the spring assembly in relation to the datam line. Basicly your engines output is driveing the axle ass. upward instead of driveing your truck formard. This is hard on your driveline and your springs. You would be better off getting a new set of springs or rearching your factory springs. National Spring makes the best off road springs and the build to order.
