sorry I had to go to a meeting so I was pressed for time.
I plan on getting a westin safari par for my truck and am wondering what kind of lights I should hang on it. I'm manly concerned about the looks of the lights put would like them to be functional as well. I here great things about the hella 500 driving lights being great bang for the buck and having h3 bulbs I could easily upgrade to a higher wattage bulb if needed.
I have owned a set of 150watt kc lights in the past and while the dam things were bright as hell they would constantly blow relays and switches.
just looking for general opinions of both in terms of looks and functionality. all feedback is greatly appreciated.

I have a safari bar and black KC's on my dakota and i love the way it looks. My truck is white so i got the soft black and white kc covers. I love the look of the lights and yes they are bright but I haven't had much chance to use them since I live in the big city of KC. Sorry I don't have any pix but thats my 2 cents.

ive got 6 kc daylighters on a custom made front bumper and roll bar. check it out.oh ya, as long as youve got it wired properly you wont ever burn out your relay or switches.

i have a safari bar and i have three kc lights on it and i love the way it looks the only thing is if you plan on burning them alot they dont last long

get the hellas, I rally my truck in SCCA club rally and i have four Hella 3000s. I used to use 500s when i first entered the sport. They are awesome lights for the money.

I realize this thread is older than dirt but who cares. If you haven't already bought lights then go for the Hella's. I just installed them on my safari bar last month. They look awesome!!

I'm not sure how you say KCs don't last very long. They have a 23 warranty! It all depends on wiring. Wire them right the first time, and you'll never have problems.
