 Subject: i need the 4x4 guy's help

hey ya i need the help from the 4x4 guys (like the title said) with 97-99 4x4 daks. could ya please messure the distance between the firewall to the gear box on the streering shaft. basicly i need to know the length of the streering shaft of a 4x4 to compare it with my 2wd dak for my 4x4 and solid axle swap conversion. any info on this topic would greatly help. thanks

That distance is going to verry depending on how you mount your new steering setup. If you stick with the factory worm§or then the distance will stay the same. If you move it around then it's going to be totally differen't.. It all depends where you figure out where to mount the new steering components..
I don't know the distance but I'm sure someone w/ a 97-99 will post that measurement for you.
