Please read my reply on the General Boards to the post about the Dakotas catching fire. My 01 almost carbequed on 9/7. After reading his post this information and my reply may save your truck. I'm taking mine to the dealer next week to get it fixed. I'll keep you guys posted on the outcome. We don't need any more insurance claims. Don't know about you guys but it's a scary feeling to be driving your Dak down the road and smelling electronics burning.
