Sorry so long but I got to get it out!!
I have been wanting to put 33" BFG AT KO's on my truck since April but with all the money I had already put into it my finances said no!
I finally got the green light from the budget to do rims and tires. I really did not want to go with custom rims so I made my buddy an offer he could not refuse. I wanted the stock 16" rims but only new ones. His truck is brand new. So since he could not afford the rims and tires he wanted and I did not want to pay the money the dealer wanted for the stock rims, I just paid 2K for tires! YIKES!!!
He got BFG MT's 32x15x11.5 on AE 589, he also got some blocks and torsion bar cranked all paid for by me.
I got 285x75x16 BFG AT's on stock rims.
I finally have road tires I wanted and size I wanted.
The 31" yokohama MT's were really starting to make more noise and vibrate as the wore. I hated wearing down the 33" general MT's.
The real crappy part is 4 wheel parts sucks and I was not glad when he told me he had put a deposit on his stuff since they had to order. Install on Weds this was Friday. Well Wed came and he called to make sure they had everything and they said that was for next Wed the 4th. Holly crap another week! The whole time this deal just kept getting worse and worse.
But I just got the tires today and am getting it all out so I will feel better.
Yeah my buddy owes me some cash but what are friends for. Maybe I am to desparate for friendship! I am CRAZY!!!
