Subject: Really Odd Banging Sound on left side? IP: Logged
Message: Whenever I take turn I hear this odd Banging under the drivers' side fender. It's a banging/rattle. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Message: Yet another odd sound that my truck makes. I think it's my ball joints.. Might want to check yours. Also look under for any grease under there.

Message: I was thinking that but the truck's got onyl 24k miles on it with no hard driving and nothing but a Torsion bar lift. seems a pit pre-mature for the ball joints to go to hell doesn't it? There is no visable grease that I can see.

If you can wait until Saturday I should be able to tell you if NAPA can come up w/ a replacement. They dont have anything on file but one of them owes me a favor and he's going to look threw his stock to see if they have something to replace them with.

Message: Cool. Let me know. I just called the local Dodge dealer and they said they would inspect the ball joints and replace them under warranty if there is too much play. They also said the bushings are a common failure too.
