How do I get my leaf springs to quit squeaking?

I tried wd-40 but that doesn't do much good. I'm also having the same squeaking issue with my doors when I open and close them. WD-40 works but isn't a lasting fix.

lol...were on the same page today knobby

I'm having the same problem with my right side leaf springs...I tried spraying them with wd-40 and liquid silicone to get them to stop...didn't work...since it sounds like the squeaking is coming from the bushings I'm going to try putting new bushings in from energy suspension to see if that stops it...plus, while I got the leaf spring out I'm going to soak down with oil.

Ive had the same problem for the last 9 months. When I was at the dealer I had them look at it, they said it was the isolators on the leafsprings. Its not covered under warranty. This is what they have told me. And it would cost close to $150 for the parts.

I still havent done anything about it. But still drives me crazy when I hear it. Knobby if you fix it let me know, because I dont know where to begin.

Not sure about the springs but for the doors you can use "open chain and gear lube" mage by a couple diffrent manufactures, sprays out liquid the gets harder/slickery, Im use it on my doors, hood latch, and tailgate.

I am going to try some lithium grease in a spray can and try to get it to soak in. I noticed it for months also, but now have better access to get in there now that she is 3" taller. I will post on how it works.

My rear leafs were squeaking for several months. The dealer replaced, what looks to be, the leaf clamps. Not sure if that was the only thing. I will check my dealer invoices when I get home.

Looks like you guys are having the same problem. Dealer said it was a TSB and changed them under warranty. Not a peep from the truck anymore...except for the roar of the 4.7. ; )

FortWorth,
I don't have the TSB number but you might be able to find it at alldata.com. I'm going to try and call the dealer today.
