will a np241 out of a 98 2500 ram be a direct swap for my np231? does anyone know of a place I can go for dimensions of the two? Is it worth it?
I have a 95 dak 5.9 with the 46rh tranny I'm not sure what the 98 had in it???

Thank you, I'm glad I picked it up, actually it came free with a set of axels from the same truck, a 60 front and a 70 rear. These will be swapped in over the winter months.....

it was worth picking it up. since you said it had a 60 &70 with it i would think it was a desiel and that could possibly mean that it will have a different spline count. count them and let me know. ive got a 93 with 2 60s and leafs.

Did the 241 swap directly in? I wondering what the best route would be to replace my 231 in a 96 fullsize half ton. i've had trouble with the 231s not holding up and was wondering if I could get some help on what will bolt in? Thanks alot.

Blake
