Depends on the year. They claim a 3" for the 2000 and up but only god knows when. I just bit the bullet and through on 32 x 11.50's and cranked the torsion bars up. Brought the truck up almost an inch overall.

I just don't understand the whole issue with why its so hard to figure out a lift for 2000+ Daks. I know all about the new front suspension and steering and all that. Are they scared of it not selling? I think if a company would offer a good quality lift at a price that us normal people can afford that they'd fly off the shelves. Here in Kansas City about every third truck is a newer Dakota. I say offer a quality 4-6 inch lift for like $700 and sell a ton of them. Is that too much to ask?

true but for every dakota here where i live i think the ratio is like 1 Dakota to 15 Chevy's and 1 dakota to 30 F-150s....
i guess they know the market is much larger for those bigger trucks....
it's hard finding lifts for almost all smaller trucks like ranger, dakota, and s-10..
just my opinion i dunno....

Like I`ve said before, why are there 2 big lift companies (that I know of...Superlift and RCD) that make a 5-6in lift for the ZR2 S-10s?! The frame and susp. is completely changed from a reg. 4X4 S-10, so they had to come up with a new kit just for that MODEL of the truck. So now they make 2 kits for the S-10s and NONE for us.

I don`t know about where you guys live , but around here I`ve only seen 2 of those trucks on the road since they started making them.

So there has to be a 1000 to 1 ratio of ZR2s to 4X4 Dakotas. It doesn`t make any cents to me , or dollars to them.
