Has anyone been on the Red Lake / Coyote Lake Trail out of Shaver Lake California?

I am getting mixed signals about this trail. I want to know if I can do it in a stock Dakota (4wd QC) without body damage.

What about the nearby Strawberry Lakes Trail? are the Lakes as good?

I've seen a Jeep Comanche go into coyote lake....stock. However, the Jeep club he was with had to build a freeway to get him there. As for body damage, it can get tight in some spots, but if you take the right routes, you'll be ok. Make sure to take a long jack with you in case you get stuck on them boulders.
