Message: Jump up to 16X8 and check out the Centerline Sundance Galaxy II. I just ordered them for a 2000 4X4 from Summit Racing. Other than that, American Eagle Alloys has a few, but the back spacing is smaller and may give you problems with the tire size you are looking at.

Message: AE 589's look real good with the black truck. The 3.75" backspacing is actually good for that tire size. I have the Tuff Country lift and they still rub a little when the wheel goes up in the wheel on a turn. Fourwheelparts usually has good deals, and free shipping, on package deals and I know that the bfg mud's are in a package with the AE 589's

Message: I am about to go ahead and order my lift, tires, and wheels from 4wheelparts in the next week or two. I am getting the PA 3" body lift, 33" BFG AT KO's, and probably either the AE 1179 or AE 1189 wheels.
My question is, will the 3.75 backspacing on these cause problems? I'm pretty sure the 5.5 backspacing of our factory wheels would probably cause the tires to rub the frame pretty hard, but the 3.25 backspacing of the AE 589's would cause too much rubbing on the fenders because they stick out so far. Is the 3.75 a good backspacing? Which would be best?
Sorry for such a long post, but just want to make sure before I spend this much money.

Message: I just bought a set of Welds Stonecrushers used. They are hard to keep clean but, they look cool. The center caps in this picture aren't the ones that are on the wheels. It's just the plain welds cap.

Message: If you are on a tight budget,I am in college.....I got the American Racing steel rims which are black. They look very good on a black truck...mine is a sport, so after other mods my whole truck is completely black. I also have 33 inch mudders and they have been through a lot and are easy to clean. It depends what your budget is. The aluminum ones will be 150 plus, where the steel are 40 and can be replaced many times compared to the initial price of the aluminum ones....good luck.

Message: If you go to the American Racing web site you can type in your make and model and they will give you a list of wheels that they make for the Dakota. There are about 10 different styles to look at with a size of 15 x 8. With a little searching you can find some other style rims in the 16 x 8 size and even a few more that are bigger than that.
