Subject: vibration diagnosis anyone? IP: Logged
Message: Im noticing a vibration that I feel through my pedals and that has the sound of a creaking bushing but happens occasionally when the transmission is not ingaged (manual) and Im sitting still. The vibration happens most when Im accelerating but there is no noticable rhyme or reason to the occurance. Im thinking it has to be something that is in motion always when the engine is on. I also feel it is somewhere around the back of the engine/front of tranny, possibly flywheel? If anyone has experience this sort of vibration or noise I need some help in a diagnosis. Im not noticing any change in performance, but its very annoying and I know it shouldnt be happening. Thank, Jgreen3d

Message: You've probably figured the problem out by now, but I'd say it's either your pressure plate or throwout bearing in your clutch housing. I could be wrong though!
