Subject: 2.5L TB Size - Upgrade Choices

I've been looking into the possibility of putting a Jeep 4.0L TB onto my son's 2.5L Dakota. I've run across lots of posts indicating that popping a 4.0L TB onto this engine will give it a noticable (but small) HP boost.

I can't seem to find what the stock 2.5L TB size is, what the stock 4.0L TB size is, and how big I can go before affecting the performance in the wrong direction. And also, what years will these parts interchange.

As always, any guidance is much appreciated. I'm gonna post this on the open forum to solicit a wider range of responses (good, bad, and useless), also.
