Message: My collector was too small, now it's a 3" "Y" going into a 3.5" collector. Boy did that cool off under the hood.
Now for the stupid discovery. I think bernd was saying something about the small air cleaners that came with the Powerdyne and this was my first chance to pull it out. My air cleaner is a K&N that came with the Powerdyne kit, and it's in the fender well, I pulled it out and it was crushed. I don't see how it even ran.
She has power now!

Message: CW I thought that the PVC would blow oil thanks, but when I pulled the heads off the pan looked just like that and the gasket was blown in a couple of places. My thoughts on that was it may be different do to being supercharged.
When ideling (Right after I resealed it) I was getting 18in vacuum. Now it's back to 16.
I dunno, I don't have anything to compare it to.
And yes I tend to drive it like a rental.

I got 8 passes in 3 hours
I think it has Gibson headers the cat is an aftermarket but not sure what make.
The exhaust was already dinked with before I got it. I just had some tweaking done on it, by going with a 3" Y pipe to a ported collector and a single 3.5" all the way back. Before I did that the temps were high under the hood and at night when I came off the freeway the headers were glowing. Now it's cooler and it doesn't sound like it's pissing through a 1/2in tube

I can get 20in if I'm decelerating, but at idle its 16in.

Message: FMU is installed, I pulled the fuse on the aux pump. It was leaking and loading up at idle not the mention it wasn't working.
The injectors are a must! Even with an FMU. The power was much smoother and the mileage went up a couple of points. Now there is a difference in designs in injectors so do some research. Mine works great but it trips the MIL. The laptop is telling me to rich just before boost. I understand it doesn't have that effect with most engines. I am running the FMS disign III cobra 24#.

do you have a A/F guage? what does it read underboost, or what does the lap top tell you underboost?

Message: The A/F on the laptop says it's ok at 6# but you can see the curve heading to lean. I do get detonation, but I notice that it's directly correlating with quality of gas. Keep in mind that when I changed the head gaskets I went with a thinner gasket. Stock was .060" and the MP gasket was .030". Not sure without calculating, but the compression went up.
