I'll do the "S" bolt if this setup now gives me any trouble (The airhat is on really tight rite now) And I'm not sure who made that TB but I had measured it at the butterflys to see what it was and it turned out to be 52mm.
The real bitch I have is, that damn plastic collar stand off on between the airhat and the TB. It's kina cheeeezy, a real weak link.

-Eric Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown. 5.2L, 5speed. Powerdyne SC, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, MSD 6BTM, ciramic JBA headers, carsound cat, dumped gibson

Message: the S bolt dosent make the airhat go on tighter, it allows more airflow to go through the TB. see the plate that the stud is in on the TB? it eliminates that.

Message: can you hear the bypass valve hissing while driving with the discharge going back into the intake? i just hooked mine up with a filter like bernd has on his truck, and its annoying as all hell. it makes me want to drive around in boost, just so i dont have to listen to it hissing.

Message: Nope, The only time I hear anything is when it's under boost. Other than that you can't tell if there is even a bypass valve.
