Hi all, first off thanks for the informative forum. Secondly, thanks for spreading the dak modification bug, thats from my wife hehe.
I haven't done much to my dak, but as with anything, patience is a virtue. I have a few ?'s, first with my two whole whopping mods, how can I help the low end? The low end, seems a little bit more sluggish since the cold intake addition, And second, I understand that changing the sp wires from stock to lets say 8.5, will promote better spark, but what other gains if any will I see by swapping this out. Oh and one more, what should be next. Again thanks for the mod infection that I beleive is taking the dak world by storm. On a side not, most of you people on this site really know haow to make a somewhat stock dak owner very jealous. I look forward to being a part of this forum, and if I can in the future, I would like to add to the tips, and suggestions to future mwmbers.
thanks
Brian

My best suggestion is to stash the cash for a turbo or supercharger. I know it sounds like a big jump, but an auto v6 CC is going to need all the help it can get for a noticeable increase.

Good Place to see what mods work

LOL Yeah, Welcome to the fever, it will take you over if you let it.

But when I'm in my "Happy place" It's behind the wheel of a powerhouse with my right foot is 3 times larger and buried several inches bellow the floor. Smelling burnt rubber and feeling the g-forces at work in your brain and stomach, hearing the engine making music with one hell of a base note that NO stereo can match. And drool... Ooop I got carried away sorry.

Growing up in a house with an old drag racer that couldn't leave anything stock, he had a saying that he would say to anyone that wanted advice on performance. It's the only thing that keeps into perspective.

"How Fast Can You Afford?"

LOL, it seems when this bug bites, you cant shack the fever. So what are your thoughts about upgrading the sp wires, cap coil, etc. Any gains with that? Starting to build a house in Oct. so turbo or charger will definatly be on the back burner for now.But I am definatly open to all suggestions.

Do you have an electric fan, if you take off the clutch fan the engine will rev faster and increase the HP a lot.
