Message: Do any of you guys know if these chips will work from on year to another? Like a 1994 to a 1995 same engine and trans? I called Jet and they told me it wouldn't work. Is their that much difference in one year on these computers? I was thinking as long it was the same generation it would work. I had a chance of getting a stage 2 chip cheap and was afraid to try it.

Message: Personally I think Jet is filling full of sh!t. I talked to them when I bought mine and they said as long as it was 3.9 to 3.9 I'd be fine.. The part #'s are all the same!? At any rate ... If you are interested in a Jet chip, I have one I'll sell you. StageII **It will work on your application!**

Message: Since 96 is OBDII and 94 is OBDI, I don't think a Jet Chip off of a 96 will fit a 94. It's not just a matter of programming, they have entirely different connections.

Message: I just went thru this exercise at jetchip.com. The jetchip for the 1996 to 2003 3.9 is the same for number automatic or manual. The stage 1 is 90001 and the stage 2 is 90001s auto or manual. I believe that the same applies for the 5.2 as long as it is the OBDII. Larry, If you want to sell you jet chip how about 80.00.

Message: I just bought a stage 2 for my 2000 3.9....installed it the way they instructed....when I hit the throttle its sounded like it was constipated and was tryin to fart or something...went through the troubleshooting process with them and had to send it back cause they said it might not have any data inside of it....After reading the majority of unsatisfied purchasers on here, I know what category I fall into now...lol Anyway, its on its way back to the factory and they are replacing it...we'll see what happens....
