Message: Are you talking about the 4.7 High Outtput controller. That is for jeeps only not for Daks sorry. If you can afford it get the contoller flashed by mike leech, KRC performance or Kenne Bell. I have heard good results from all of these.

Message: Hey CW,
I didn`t order the mopar pcm. I ordered the Jet 2 and the Airaid system. I have been told by all they do not yet have a cat-back for the 2002 b/c of each year performance items have to pass "laws" even if they are the same item. Is that correct. I also see that that there is one of the sensors installed on the exhaust after the cat. Any help is appreciated.

Message: I don't think they have changed anything on the exhaust. The emissions have nothing to do with the cat back exhaust. The sensor that you are talking about is a O2 sensor. It monitors catilatic convertor efficiency. I haven't looked yet do the 2002 have the precats in the Y-pipe.

Message: You can remove the third one. (the single one in the main exhaust) It makes the truck sound much toupher and the increase in usable power range is nice as well.

Message: Hey CW,
I didn't look under the truck b/c I'm in a wheelchair and if I get down I can'get up...! LOL
Are there any 02 sensors AFTER the last cat..? Remember, my truck is a 2002 Quad Cab.
The salesperson at Sporttruck.com told me they contacted Gibson and Gibson said they do not have a system for my truck b/c of the cats (and or) sensors.
If I have the third cat removed will their system work..? I hate to put you in this position but I keep getting different answers from everyone.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Message: Mine has three cats and I bolted a system off for a '98 on there. All I had to do is add a 5" peice into the system because the muffler was to short. I will try to remember to look under the '02s on the lot and see if they have a O2 sensor behind the third cat or if there is even a third cat. I haven't paid much attention to them yet. My advice is to order a system for a '01 and take it to a muffler shop. They will make any minor mods to the exhaust if they have to.
