Message: My dad is in Pensacola, FL right now and he says the nights are in the 20's and days are in the 40's. I'm sure Miami is not like that. I was down there for Thanksgiving and actually caught a sunburn.

Message: When I was a kid, I went to visit My Grandmother in Arizona in Feb. It was in the 70's there and the people that lived there had on winter coats and thier fireplaces were on. I wore shorts all week while the residents were cold.

Message: Here in CNY. it's snowin almost 1/2" per hour, ground was barely covered with snow until this afternoon. We will probably end up with a foot by the time it stops. Had some fun in the snow on the way home from work tonight, over 4" on backroads near my house:) Thought I was going to be able to avoid Winter, should have know better livin in NY:) My wife has been beggin me to goto Florida(she was born in Jacksonville), she goes at least once a year with her Aunt & Uncle to their Condo in Clearwater(I think). My engineering classes kinda muck things up. Goin Tues/Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings:( Although spring break is coming up... I think the first or second week in March I get a week off, mmm... But then I'd have to get out the shorts and get rid of my beer belly in 8 weeks to hit the beach while everyone else is wearin parkas:) I just might be able to do it if quit the beer olypmics team:), that could be devasting to my team mates. Seriously, I think I'll talk to the wife about a "Florida" road trip in March, if it is doable, I might come on down and meet some of the fine folks I have chatted with from this website and get a great sunburn on my alabaster white skin. Let me think... Viper, Hawkeye, Dan Gruber... ahhh, who am I missin from the sunshine state? I have been wanting to hit Universal Studios in Orlando too. CW you can hook a tow rope on my back bumper or ride under the tonneau cover if you wanted:)
Joe, I used to visit my Uncle in Tuscon every February until he moved back to NY 7 years ago. I would use the outdoors hottub in his apartment complex and everyone would freak out wearing jeans and coats:) They actually got used to seeing me in the hottub every February:) It is funny to be a "northerner" and go south during winter months to see everyone bundled up for weather you would wear shorts and a tank top. They say your blood thins living in a warmer climate...
