Like to get a pcm for my 97 5.2 4x4. Which is my best bet? Mopar doesn't have one for the 4x4 with a manual tranny. They have one for the 4x2 manual however. Can I use the 4x2 PCM since the Mopar PCM is the best bang for the buck or should i go with a Kenne Bell optimizer or similar. I asked this on another forum but got no reply. I personnally cannot figure out why the PCM would be different between a 4x4 and 4x2 manual. The computer is not involved with the t-case or tranny. Thanks in advance.

don't know much about them Bill...what I have heard though is that a 4x2 Pcm won't work for 4x4...can't remember why...I know I'm not much help but hey at least I responded...lol

Throw it on the performance board again...thats probably your best bet.

I just got off the phone with Mopar and confirmed that you can't, but the tech didn't know why. so I guess the next question would be which computer is the best but for a 97 5.2 4x4 manual?

I was sitting trying to figure out why it wouldn't work. Like I said I see nothing in the t-case that has anything at all to do with the computer. Thanks for all the help.
