Message: I just received an email from a non-member, Tom Nickovich, who wrote: "The picture you posted on DodgeDakotas.com is a pic from my ebay auction and the pic. of the interior of my r/t. You do not have permission to use it freely." in reference to this thread:POST GROUP 339
Now, Im not sure what this guys complaining about, since I merely posted HIS picture in an attempt to help HIM sell HIS product, so in a return email I wrote:
"Tom,
Im sorry- let me get this straight..........I help you out by posting a picture for you on a website where YOUR selling a product (not me- YOU) and now your complaining to me that I posted your picture? Im not quite understanding this, I thought I was helping you out by posting the picture, as the saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words". As I pointed out in my post I was merely "helpin out" by posting YOUR picture. If your going to take the stand that "I didnt have permission to use it freely" then I guess I could just as well say that I have a right to claim compensation for any product that I sold for you by posting YOUR picture! Now, in reality Im not going to go and ask you for compensation for this- and I hope you realize that I was merely helping YOU out!
Secondly, I believe thare are no legal laws regarding pictures on the internet - thats why it's possible to protect a picture so that people can not copy your picture (or in my case link to your picture (read the properties)). I merely ask at this time that you stop harrassing me via email, as you have with this email.
The easiest way for you to remove that picture from that thread is to relocate it to a different URL- in other words: load the same picture as a NEW picture on your webspace - this will give you a new URL for the picture (try possibly protecting it, if you dont want anyone helping you sell product), then you can remove the other picture which will in turn remove it from that thread and any other thread that anyone else may have posted it on.
If I can be of any further assistance please let me know,
Rich"
Just thought you guys might get a kick outta this! I know Im still laughing!

I do agree though that it is pretty funny. It seemed you were trying to help him out... oh well. I never wanted pedals anyway, but if I did I would think twice about getting them from him after seeing that.
