 Subject: Weird beeping sound

you know the automatic 15mph door locks, well, if the passanger door is the last one to shut before we leave, the auto lock makes a beep that sounds like it's coming from my side of the truck. This makes no sense to me, it's never done it in the past. Has any one else had this problem? It's under warranty, I was just wondering if any one has heard of anything like this.
btw...it doesn't have any type of aftermarket or OE alarm, and the only electrical mods I have are my krypton lights and 2 amber turn signal lights, and I know the mod couldn't have any effect on this.

Sounds like a door ajar warning to me. Are you sure the door is fully closed?

If the door lock solinoid is staring to go bad it will make sort of a screech to beep sound.

haha yea, I drove my moms 2000 prism, and a 4x4 ranger pulled up along side of me and in perspective the thing seemed like it was a semi, so you could be right lol
