Yes another one. Great truck so far. 820 miles. 6 months old.

I have been in a wheelchair for 13 years now. As a result I had to get a vehicle that was about the same height as my wheelchair. This makes getting in and out much easier and faster. In the past the GM small trucks w/extended cabs were the best choice. The wheelchair would fit behind me w/the extended cab.
When the newer Dakota's came out I was always interested. I decided to give the Sonoma (great truck-no problems) to my son after taking a test "ride" in the new QC. Also, the dealer said having it lowered 2/3 would not void the warranty. I had it lowered for access reasons. The dealer had it lowered for me and then delivered the truck to my home. This QC sure is nice with the extra room and the awsome power I never had w/the GM small trucks. Now other people can ride w/me.
The Mustang and Allante' I have are also fun but not for daily driving.
I'm glad they make the Quad Cab. It gives me the sense of driving a big truck and they come w/the V-8..! Nothing I could get before in a daily driver.

COOL DEAL!

Just curious.. I've always wondered and never got the chance to ask... How is your throttle hooked up? Like a boat where you have a lever that might be spring loaded? Or like a motorcycle?

Just curious..

The only mods for driving are hand controls. The lever is on the left side by the turn signal stalk. You push in towards the floor board to brake and just pull down towards your leg to go.
They do make a motorcycle type grip for some but I have never used or seen one.
The rods are connected above the pedals so anyone else can still drive. I will take some pics and put them with the others on the page shown below.

No, not handle bars..!
In the post above I talked about the handle on the left side to apply the gas and brake. Some use a motorcycle type grip on the handle to do the gas. I'll get some pics or sites to explain.
