I had always thought I had the 3.55 rear end in my truck, just like I had in my 92 dakota, but I looked in the glove compartment and it showed that I have a 3.2 rear end. I didn't even know Dodge put that in the Daks!! I was wondering how hard and how much (money) it would be to swap out the gears myself to a 3.55 or even the 3.92. My truck hauls ass now, I can't imagine how quick it would be with a different gear ratio! Thanks in advance for the help!

Drive it like you stole it!

Best way to find out is to price around at some shops. It is best left to professionals. From what I have heard 400 US is the norm. Go with the 3.92 you will love them.
