I know they won't on a Gen II. You wouldn't be able to physically fit them in there with an almost 0 profile. They would eat your fender alive everywhere,...tops sides, and not to mention that you would only be able to cut the wheel a half turn till you rub on the frame. Last time I looked it didn't appear that a Gen III has too much more room.

hey man
there's no way you could get them to fit. Even if it's at stock hieght. The wheel well shell is just too small. I looked at 23's for me, but just too much. I didn't want to have any rubbing and wanted to have full turning radius, so 22's are the biggest possible...... I know i'm the only one to do it so far. they work perfect. You could try a 23----1. if you don't mind rubbing or not turning all the way. and 2. if you can get someone to make them. it took me about 6 months to get 22's made for mine.
good luck though

i would think anything bigger than a 22" would look like a big old wagon wheel on a dak.I think 20s would probably be the best bet without looking silly

yea if you go up high enough. just take one of ur front wheels off and measure the inner wheelwell shell. then measure the tire from the two points front to rear. to get an idea of how wide they are turned. it just won't work. you need the lowest profile on them anyway, so u wouldn't want to raise it anyway. good luck though with the 22's, if you get them.

24 inchers are just goofy-looking to me.

I saw a Suburban cruising in front of Wal-Mart the other day with 24" rims and it looked like a damn clown car... 20"-22" are big enough...

Dude, have you ever seen 24's... they are huge... One of my buddies at school has an 02' Tahoe on 24's and they are monsterous... without a tire they might.. might fit in a stock wheel well. You would have to roll an inch all around your fender and pull them out 2 inches and find a 25-30 series tire... oh yeah and come up with 8-10k for the wheels and tires... seriously 10k for wheels on a 25k trucks is stupid. But more power to ya.

you could do it if you're willing to put out the money to get new axles cut all fenders lots of body work plus the painting..........if you wanted to do it, it must be only for show your tire would be so small every bump you would hit has a good chance of bending your rim in other words you could never enjoy cruising it go with 20's or 19's and dropping it will give the illusion of having bigger rims

my 04 dak Club cab has 29" tall tires. as long as you dont get too wide, you should be able to fit 24" . of course you are going to have about 2.5" of tire and on hell of a rough ride.

24's fit easily with a special ordered 25 profile tire. BUT, you cant turn, i mean, no turning. You only have 1/4 of your turning radius with 24's. (fun times at a custom shop is how i know this.)

Also, 24's looks so damn ugly on a dakota. Makes it look like a micromachine.

I beleive there is a such thing as a rim that is too big for a certain car, and 24's on a Kota is horrid. 22's are acceptable, but 20's, in my eyes, are perfect.

STONY - You are in no way the only Kota on 22's. Theres 4 in Houston, 1 in Dallas, and one in Victoria, Texas that i know of. I would be next but baggin' on 22's is a challenge that I'd rather not take, lol.
