Have any of you have kept the 16X8 inch wheels and gone to a lower profile tire than the stock 255/65/16's? What size and brands have you gone to when lowering the vehicle and how satisfied are you with the results appearance and handling wise?

whats up...i have yet to lower mine the "right way". with mine, i chopped the springs 2 and blocked the back 3. for instant results like i wanted. ya know just something to get you going. to feel it lowered.... that is why i did what i did. youre welcome to it. if your impatient. but if you can wait i highly recommend getting a nice kit. i did this last year and dam it squeaks like a mug over even slightly rough roads or bumps. this just started happening a few months ago. so your keeping the wheels, just getting lower tires? it depends on how "low" profile your going for, but other than that they are all good i think. depends on also what type of driving (or racing) you plan on doing.
