Message: I am going to lower my 1999 dakota R/T. i dont know what to go with. will shackles/hangers have a better ride than 4" leaf springs. both are from Belltech, so they r good quality. what should i go with???

Message: As long as you get good shocks, hangers maintain the stock ride. the leafs have less arc and travel to them, so they'd prolly be stiffer. it depends if u want it to ride like stock, or if u want it to be a little stiffer. It'll depend mostly on the shocks though. You'll also want to get rid of the stock bumpstops; maybe even c-notch the frame since u have an R/T. Hope this helps.
