Subject: ? About installing coil spring HELP!!! IP: Logged
Message: I put on my front springs and back leaf springs. 2/3 Hotchkis Drop total, the front sits higher. But it sits higher on the driver side than the passenger side. Is there certain grooves that the coil springs have to go in order to work. The truck looks bad it is like I am driving around with a load in the back all the time. If you would like to see pics please e-mail me and I will send you one. I would really like to get this problem fixed. smith9_2002@yahoo.com

Message: Brent, Brent... you need to drop the spring on the driver side again, and set it in the lwr control arm correctly, look downn iin the control arm, see the worm hole type groove, it stops on one side, this is where the coil spring end fits into. make sure the opposit side spring is in also, just jack up the truck from the frame and let the wheels hang , now look into the lwr control armm with a bright light, can you see where the spring end meets the worm hole stop?
