i wanna get a idea of how these drops look and sit. please send me your pcitures or post them. side view would be great but ill take anything you have. i have a 2000 RT single cab and either want a 2/3 or 3/4 cant decide. please help me make my decision.

how were you planning on getting the three inch drop on the front? control arms plus lowering springs? just wondering, and making sure you know you cant drop the front with just coils (that far)...
ill be happy to send you pictures of my drop, its getting put on this week!

2 inch a arm and 2 inch spring gives me a total of 3 inch drop in the front. but i want to see the difference between 2 and 3 for the front. cause i have stock tires 255/55/17. my truck is a 2000 dodge dakota RT single cab.

ok, i was just making sure you knew that...
i did a 2 inch just because of cost, all those extra parts up front are expensive (arms), just for that one more inch!

why cant you get the 3 inch drop from just coils i would really like to know because i have 3inch coils up front i got it to drop 3 inch so what am i missing

curtis you have a 3 inch drop on yours. on mine i would need a 4 inch drop coil to achieve a 3 inch drop because rts are allready lowered in the front 1 inch by a coil.
so a 2/3drop for a rt is really a 3/4 on a sport.
rts are 1 inch lower than sports by coil and leaf.
thanks for your picture even thou it didnt help out much. i want to see rts with 2/3s and 3/4s

yes, but tell me who makes 4 inch drop coils? wouldnt be very friendly on alignment...
3 inch drop coils give you a 2 inch drop on a r/t.. im sure there is no one that will opbject to that! :)

i was just making my point to curtis. i used that as a example. hey kotart13. i want to drop my RT and keep the stock tire size of 255/55/17 what drop will make it so no gap inbetween the top of the fender and top of the tire 2/3 or 3/4? thanks

no gap whatso ever?? umm i dont think you want to do that, your more then likely be rubbing, alot of the time. but 2 inches leaves you a nice amount of room, and from what ive seen 3 inches doesnt kill all the gap. but i seriously dont think you wanna be riding the fenders!

no gap with that size tire and R/T wheel will
chew the sidewall to shreds, unless some
serious cutting and fabrication is done. (thats
the reason R/T's come with fender flares...its
a 17X9 wheel)
