I bought a set of 17x8" Niche wheels. On 2 of them there are BF Goodrich scorchers that are 215/40/17. Are these too small to be running on these wheels? What is a good width to get? I want to stay with the 40 series. I plan on bagging the front of my truck, so what would be a good width to run without rubbing?

what year is your dak? and 215/40 should be a pretty low pro.....and i would proably stay with them up front if they dont rub...but for the rear u would proably want a wider tire b/c those will spin pretty easy

It is a 99, I am kind of worried though cause with the 215's you can see some rim on each side. I want to go a little wider to cover that, just dont want to rub up front with the bags.
