Subject: rims and bags ?

Well, my truck is bagged all the way around now. Layin the frame flat with 2500# bags in the front and 2600# bags in the rear with a pete and jakes parallel reversed 4 link. Anyway, I sold my 20's and want 18's now. I need something that will tuck in the back. I don't want to shortn the axle and would like to leave the bed sides alone. What do I need? I have no clue about offset and all. I was thinking about maybe trying to get a front wheel drive rim and running the adapters. But i dunno... any help is great. thanks guys. -Eric-

8" wide rim with 6 1/4" of backspacing, and you will probably have to roll the rear fender lip IF it will even tuck. most dakotas bagged on 18's, the top of the rear tire comes to the wheel well, and stops.
it just depends on the size tire you run
