 Subject: how low can I go with 18" wheels

I have recently bought some KMC stealth wheels. I want to lower my truck as low as I can with these wheels. The tires are 255/45/18. Any help will be appreciated. I have already bought the DJM 5" shackle and hanger combo.

i have 18's with 255/45 tires and i lowered mine with djm coils 2 inch arms hanger and shackle kit and 2 inch blocks with drivers side block machined down to level it side to side. my tires don't rub. i'm sure if i lambasted a bump going fast it would rip them up but i just have to be carefull.

It all depends on your backspacing and wat size tires you get. Like im layin frame on 18's and 20's. But i have 35series tires. Questions join forum at www.overdosecustoms.com

im lowered 5/7 on 235/40 18's, but a 4/6 would probably be the max drop you could go on 255/45 18's, id go with a 3/5 and have that extra inch of suspension travel (believe me, every inch counts) coz my @ss is my suspension on my truck, and 3/5 would look good and close in the gaps pretty good with that tall of tire. just my nickels worth of free advice.
