 Subject: Changing out a 4 for a 6

Besides the wiring harness and computer what will I need to convert over if I put in a 6? (98 Dakota.) The four is blown and if I have to put a new one in it might as well be what I really want.

Wouldn't I have to change out everything if I went for an 8? I was hoping to that I would be able to salvage/use everything else with a 6.
I've found a used 6 with only 28K on it with a 1 year warranty on it.
