I paid $2500 cash at the Drop Zone. That was 2500 up front 2600 in the back, super c notch, 1/2" line, 3/4 horse compressor, electric vaulves, and 9 gallon tank installed. I think the average for air bags installed is around $2500 to $3000 if you don't get any thing exzotic.

$2500???? where did you go to get this done? i called a few places up and they told me at least $3200 if not higher! i'm currently living in Northwestern Florida and soon moving to the Chicagoland area. if anyone has any ideas where i can get good prices on anything in these areas let me know....thanx....dipak

You should shop around a little more. That sounds kind of high. Was that front and back or front back and side to side. Nitrogen or air? Check the Drop Shop, Hack Shack, Suspension Demension, and Totally Polished. Suspension Demension charges $1800 for basic bags and $2550 for fastbags, also Totally Polished charges $2700 for basic and $3500 for fast bags. The Drop Zone used to be a Hack Shack and there is a Hack Shack in Florida, there number is (888)673-2505. Also the web are sights are thedropshop.org, the-hack-shack.com, suspensiondemension.com, and totallypolished.com. Hope I didn't overload you I just get excited when someone hooks a Dakota up.

I used to live in San Diego a couple of years ago. I got those price of their sights. I made a mistake a couple years ago and moved to Texas where I now live at. This is the worst place to have a lowered truck, the roads suck.

brian, i answered this on a differant thread, but oh well. i have talked to shawm a few times and simone (sp?), and nate are in our club. (Forbidden Fantasy) suspencion demension does a lot of work on our trucks, and gives us good deals
i missed reso this year, but it rained, so all i missed was a big mud pit. oh well

I just got off the phone with God Father Customs and they priced me for complete front and rear conversion kits including a 175 psi compressor, two 3 gallon tanks, bags, all lines and hardware.........for $999 + shipping, about $72 from Cal. to Ohio You guys are talking crazy prices!

lowdak, sorry for not getting to your question sooner, but i didnt see it untill now.
shawn said they started to body drop the truck (with a whopping 800 miles on it) and decided to take the stock frame and throw it in the trash. from the firewall back is all a custom built boxed in frame. it has the shallowest (if thats a word) bed i have ever seen on a body drop. its about 8" deep. the pic on the website, and the ones in street truck mag, were at the severd ties show and at that time it had no interior in it. i looked at the floor of the cab, and they tunneled the floor about 6" for the driveshaft.
unfortunatly i didnt get to look at the engine compartment.
from what i heard its all shaved up right now. ill ask more about it next time i see shawn. hell, i might have to judge it at our show. i have midsize ;-)

i know "some guys" who can do it for 400 and the local "custom shop" charges 1000, and you can get a system for as low as 800 bucks on sucicidedoors.com or 1300 for a really good one
