Subject: air ride or lowering kit IP: Logged
Message: i'm not sure what i should do? i want to lay frame but my truck is an everyday driver...120 miles a day to be exact! i'm not sure if i should invest in all that suspension, 4-link, step notch, relocating shocks, lower a-arms bags...and evry thing else that goes along with it. i mean i don't mind doin all the work...i guess my question is...should i just put a 3x5 on or pull weeds?
any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Message: Well, if u have the $$ to bag it, and dont mind the work, that's one part out of the way. A Bagged daily driver can be dependable, BUT it very well may take a few problems before you can get it dependable. it might be dependable from the start, or u might have a few problems that you'll need to fix before it's dependable. For a 120-mile daily driver, you're at least going to worry alot less about it if it's just the 3/5 drop. The only thing you'd have to worry with the 3/5 drop is getting the right components and shocks to get it to ride how u want it to ride.
Hope this helps.

Message: Thanx, i'm not sure exactly how much its dropped. it's 3"drop springs with 1/2 coil cut off. In back, its 4" blocks with a leaf taken out. I should be lowering it some more soon.

Message: i have a 5/5 drop and its a daily driver around 75-100 miles a day...and it takes me alot longer to get to places b/c i have to drive slower and the ride isnt very good....i would get bags if u have the money.....that way u can raise it up when u drive and dont have to worry about scraping...and the ride is alot smoother...if u use shocks...plus u can lay the frame =)
