CASDAK....i ordered a set of electric mirrors for a 94
Ram. They will fit without any mods, but i filed the
mounting base around the window rubber for a better
fit. The mounting holes line up and the wiring harness
is even the same!! Go figure. That was probably the
easiest mod i made to the truck. I'll look for the part
number if you want it.
...and cruznlo, I'm with ya on the gen II parts. It's difficult
to find stuff. I spent a few months before I started any
work just gathering info. Everything except for the sub
box I did in a little over a month last summer so i
needed to know exactly what i could get. That was a
very...very...very long month.

i will be ordering all the stuff to replace my front end after the wreck this last june, should be done in 2 weeks and ill have some money to toss into a few things... i want a drop, not a lot, but a drop and a billet grill to start, then paint and tint.... let me know what ya think.... oh and hey Cruzin Lo... i saw ur truck in one of the recent truckin mags, was kinda wondering after i saw a few pics how u did that with the small enclosures at the bottoms of ur door panels, them are sweet.... want to look at what that would take to accomplish if u would be willing to help at all.
in another 2 months i look at having a custom enclosure with 4 Kicker Solo L5s (only 8" due to mounting depth restrictions of a standard cab) and a couple 1k watt amps.... feel it should hit pretty hard and show up a few ppl with a couple 10s or 12s.... well have to see. thnx yall

Sounds like my truck is going to be driveable. I havent been able to do ANYTHING except the clear front lenses. what does everyone suggest?
I have my stereo lined up and my plans for my sub box made (going tohold 4 Kicker Solobaric L5/L7 subs in it, should pound in the ballpark of 140 decibles.
I want an aftermarket hood, and a billet grill. With my tax return im getting the Western Chassis adjustible 2/3-2/3.5-2/4 drop kit and then i like the idea of the street scene mirrors that mike used.
then itll all be painted (by whom yet i have no idea) but i agree with you all... its hella hard to find anything for these, aftermarket or not.
I needed front bumper mounts, and had to buy new from the dealer, no junk yards within 250 miles had a dakota period that had parts i needed, if they were in the yard, they were totalled.

look on the bright side, it may be hard finding things, but hey, it looks better when you do get the stuff, because it doesn't look like everything else out there on the road.
