yes with those tires you can go with a 4/6, just make sure you notch the rear for extra clearance.. c-notches will cost you only about $40 but help when your truck is that low.. actually, going that low you will probably have to notch the rear... check out blackdak01 profile and look how sick the maxims look. And imagine how much better they would look on a 4/6 drop..

Please bro help me out with this.. I promise you wont regret it.. You already have the tires..all you need now is the 20's.. if you want a great deal on rims, just buy it now.. The reserve isn't that much lower and i know other people will bid ahead.. So if you want them now, take them...

I have a 2000 dak sport, i plan on putting 255/35r 20s, but i'm indecisive on the lowering...whether i want 4/6 or 3/5...i dont want the slammed look, just a good mild lower look...is 4/6 too low? i can't tell. there's an article on a '98 in truckin mag that had a 4/6 but isn't the original ride height higher than the sport? i greatly appreciate any and all replies!

well in my opinion, with a low profile tire like the 35 series, it would look funny with any gaps in the wheel well, so you really have no choice but to slam it and fill the gaps. The 4/6 would fill the gaps perfect depending on which 4/6 drop you go with, but if you don't want to be too low, then I would suggest a 2/4 or a 3/5. The 2/4 would look a little funny, but the 3/5 would probably compliment your tastes. There is still gap, but it looks sick either way.
