Message: how hard is it to install 2in drop coils? do i have to use a srping compressor and ball joint press?

Message: That would be sweet if you had the resources to use a ball joint press. You can also use a fork, but those seperators are nice -- and spendy too. Many stores don't even have them to rent out.
It's not too bad, just remember to chain the coil to the arm. It will make you feel a little better. Those springs have hundreds of pounds of force (pe) stored in them and they will seriously hurt you.
Just take a good half day to assemble all your parts and tools and do not rush it. It's pretty straight forward. There are several ways to actually do it. Some people seperate ball joints just using a jack, but if you're doing this for the first time -- I'm guessing you are -- don't try it.
