 Subject: 3/5 drop w/ stock 16" rims

I have an 02 quad cab and im going to put the djm 3" front control arms and 5" rear shackle/hanger kit on my truck. I have the tires and handling package on my truck with the 16" rims. I was woundering if anyone had this set up. I was woundering how much steering radius I will loose? Also if you have a lowered turkc and later put bigger sway bars on the truck, did it help at all? Are they worth it? And what sway bars did you use? Thanx alot guys

I have a different but similar setup. Mine's dropped 2/3 with the Hotchkis kit, includes sway bars, and the 16" package. I get some tire rubbing on the front on big bumps. The rear is fine. I haven't lost any steering radius.
When I get wheels/tires I will go to a 28" tire which will eliminate the rubs.

i have a 2001, rc, 4.7, 5 spd with the djm 3" cntl. arms and 5" shack/hang. you will loose alot of turning radius, but you get used to it.
it rides very good for a lowered truck. you might want to think about the c-notch kit. i cut my stock bump stops but i still bottom out. i'm not sure if the drop shocks will help, but i'm getting some soon. i left the stock sway bar on. the truck handles very good. i'm taking it to the local road course this friday.

i found out how to get the turning radius back.
i took my dak to the local race track. they have a 1.8 mile road course. i paid $350 for the 3 hour high performance driving class. after 2 hours of PURE DELIGHT on the road course the steering radius came back. this was a hole lot fun!!!!!!!!!!!! i knew it handled pretty good, but on the track it was amazing. well worth the money, and out of nowhere , i got my steering radius back
