Message: Parts and labor was $550.00 I rides fine, the ass end can get a little rough when hitting potholes and bumps but it corners great and it got rid of the body roll that would occur with the stock height and suspension

Message: Kinda wierd how that works, the R/T's are already lowered 1 inch in the front and i think 1 inch in the back. So overall i think my truck has been lowered 3 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear. someone out there correct me if i'm wrong.

Message: well, i guess since it is shackles in the back, you would get the full 3 inches? im coonfused, i thought anything added to the r/t would be 1' less because of the drop already on it, with the exception of blecks and what not. shackels/hangers might be this way too, but im pretty sure the coils work that way. DJM does make a r/t drop, if you got that then ignore everything i said! nice truck by the way, white looks nice, and i love your drop!

Message: what model truck do you have Gabriel ? if you have a R/T the drop shop that put mine on said they had to use U-bolts for a 1-ton truck because of the axle size

Message: well if he has stock leafs in the back, i believe you would have to just add one inch to his drop, meaning you would need a 3/4 to achieve this. ive been told the r/t stock drop was achieved by different coils and leafs. in your case, what i would do is buy the adjustable hangers, i think they are made by djm??

Message: Hey Gabrial, what drop did you get 2-3 or 3-4 ?
I can measure it this afternoon for you when i get home. The tires are 255/55 R17's. My brother has the same drop that I do on his R/T but he has 255/45 R17's and it make his set lower than mine.
Even with 18's and 45 series tire your overall height might still be lower than mine with 17's and 55.
The drop was done on my R/T when it was bone stock. The drop shop ordered a belltech 2-3 drop that had blocks for the back and coils for the front and nitro drop shocks all around.
I had my exhaust done after i lowered it. I had a 40 series flowmaster w/ 2 outs put on and had it dumped as it comes out of the muffler.
Let me know i can snap a few more pics if you guys want
Here is a pic of the front wheel with the calipers painted, but you can see the distance between the tire and fender lip:

Message: Thanxs junkie for the info. my tires are 1 inch smaller than yours. My drop is 2in. front and 4in. in the back. It sits like a 3/5inch drop.So your drop was only blocks in the back that were 3inches if you can send me some pic of your axle and blocks and how much space between the frame and axle to my e-mail. it would be helpful to see if i have a problem in the back.

Message: don't worry bro thats not a stupid question. if you dont know you dont know :)
Dumped means the exhaust does not exit out of the rear of the vehicle. My muffler has two outlets the muffler shop fabricated two tips for me.
Imagine putting a new muffler on and welding your exhaust tips right to the muffler !
My brother had a custom exhaust built for his truck before he lowered it. After he lowered it the pipes were hitting on the frame and differential so he had to have it redone. And he got it dumped. And i dumped mine as well.
Benifits of dumped: a little less expensive, and its LOUD AS HELL !
I will post a pic later, i gotta get some pics of the rear for Gabriel

Message: Oh! Thanks, bit I guess that is a mod I can't do since I have a Durango R/T and it would "dump" the exaust right into the cab. Although I do like the idea of load as hell.
