Message: With just a 1" drop, you could even cut your coils a tad to drop it that much. I am usually not for cutting the coils for drop, but in this case it's a small one and the side effects should be small.

Message: Guys,
Brent did say if he has a v6 or v8, which makes a difference. Two inch drop coils for a v8 will drop a v6 one inch. A one inch spring for a v8 will probably not drop a v6(maybe 1/4 inch). What engine we talkin Brent? Hell, he could be talkin 4 banger.

Message: I did a mild drop on my '01 V6 QC and it came out great. I got 1" drop in the front with a 1/2 coil cut and installed 2" blocks in the rear. The ride is the same and it was cheap. I'm running 17s with 60 series tires. I really like the look. Send me an e-mail at kurt.kern@lamrc.com and I'll reply with some pics. They're right here on my desktop. I won't drop it any more because I like the the Dakota ride quality and I commute 60 miles/day.

Message: I've got a 3/5 drop right now on my 2000 R/T. I want to go an inch lower in the front so that it doesnt look like the back of my truck is lower than the front. Whats the safest way I can drop the front. I have lower control arms there right now and thought I should get springs.. any suggestions?
Thanks
Mike
