Message: so your axle tubes don't slam against the frame everytime you hit a bump

Message: frame loves to pound on those rear-ends!
p.s. mine is 6" in the rear and all I did was get
a low profile bump stop. no frame cutting. just
have to drill a new hole for the bump stop.

Message: hits a little, on bumps, if you use a stiff enough
shock, the frame wont hit to often, but stiff
shocks make for a bumpy ride?? lose/lose
situation. If your dak's warranty is up, i would
cut the frame.

Message: you dont have to wait until the warenty is up. it will only void the warenty on the frame. you dont really need a warenty on the frame anyway. how many times does the stock frame bend or break? the c-notch will come with its own warenty anway.
D, where in california do you live?
