Yeah, I got cat-back dual exhaust as one of the first things i did. And when i dropped it; first with 3in blocks, then took out a leaf, then switched to 4in blocks; I never had a problem except for having to bend the pipes a little to get over the axle. But the blocks didn't intefere at all. If you're talkin about just the matter of dropping it getting in the way, u just have to make sure the pipes clear the axle, which is no problem with 2or3 inches. (And if you're looking for exhaust, I got A Flowmaster with 3" or 3 1/2" tips and it made my V6 sound badass!!)
Of course, i'm assuming you're talkin about lowering it w/ blocks, not lifting, right.

I had a 3" drop for a while and the exhaust was rubbing against the brake cable. I'm sure that if the guy before me just made the ehaust sit higher than it was ... it wouldn't have been a problem. Just a little insight I had to go through

The reason I am wondering is because last weekend I installed 3 inch blocks in the rear. I also have dual flowmasters. 1 of the pipes ran over the top of the rear end which I didnt know was going to come down everytime I hit a bump and eventually break the break line on top of the rear end. I am going this weekend to try and get the pipes bent differently.

Well i got a single exhaust w/ flowmaster. When i lowered my truck, I had problems with it hitting my drive shaft joint everytime i hit a bump. I had it fixed by heating up the hangers and pushing it over a littlebit. Also mine rubs up against the emerg brake cable... but it dosent matter to me since i dont use it.

Is your cable looped around a bolt on the rear sway bracket? WHen I went to installa rear sway I didn't put mine back down there and when I looked under there a week later to fix something, I noticed a pretty good wear spot on my cable from the frame. I pulled it back down to that bolt and it's worked perfect since.

I think I am just going to dump my exhuast. How does this sound on a 4.7? I love the way the tips look coming out the back, but they want another 120 bucks for 2 new pipes to be bent and they are really anal about their money. I can just save money like this and get the extra sound, as well as looks:) Thanks all for your comments!

xplikt, nah I dont have a sway bar in the back. It's just wrapped around my axle where the exhaust bend is (i dont know whos bright idea that was). I'm thinking about just getting a turn down before the rear axle.

The 4.7L sounds pretty damn mean dumped with no third cat. I'd venture to say stock car-ish. Really nasty (as in a good nasty, and really freakin loud).
