The r/t has the same springs as a sport model.
The frame is different or something like that.

The RT and Sport front coils are NOT the
same. The RT coils have a shorter free height
and are made with thicker diameter material.

I installed CC RT coils in my 02 Quad Sport
Plus (4.7 5speed) and although the spring
free height was about 1" less than my stock
coils, it didn't drop the front of my truck 'cause
of the RT springs higher rate.

I ended up cutting 7.5" (about 1/3 of one coil)
off the RT coils in order to get a 2" drop.

A stock RT is about 1 to 1.5 inches lower in
the front than a Sport.

I think the only way RT coils will drop a Sport
1" is if the Sport has the 5.9 engine.
