can you put airbags on a 4x4? i have an 03 cc 4x4 on order and the only reason i got a 4 wheel drive is for when it snows. im in central ohio and it gets kinda slick sometimes but not a whole lot. i dont want a slammed dak, i just want it to sit a an inch or 2 lower than stock.

anything can be done with the right amount of money.

if you only want it 1-2" lower, just crank the tortion bars down a little.. best of all, its free!

you are stuck with the rearend though. there is no flip kit available, and if there were, it would bring it down 6"

Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown.

first off thanks for the advice. will bringing the tortion bars down effect the ride. will it wear on the tires more anything like that. what about air shocks would i be able to get a little drop out of those.

it shouldnt effect ride quality that much, if at all. people with 4x's have been raising them for years, by cranking the T-bars without much change in ride, or tire wear. check the offroad section for advice from the guys going in the oppsite direction. look at it this way, if you dont like anything about it, just crank them back up.

i dont think air shocks will drop the rearend. just depends on how stiff the springs are. i cant say no, and i dont feel comfortible saying yes, so ill just say im not sure. maby someone who has been there and done that can shed some light on the air shock situation.

The air shocks wouldn't do anything for lowering. All they do is let you bring the back up some when it has a load on it or stiffen up the ride when you need it. Bags on a 4x4 are kinda pointless. I would just crank on the T-bars some and maybe take a leaf out of the back. Should drop ya about 2 or 3 in the back and 1-2 in the front. But do remember to make marks before adjusting them so you can put it back to stock if needed. Hope this helps
